ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome love! I’m Waverly, a trauma-informed facilitator and multidimensional mother. My work weaves together sacred space, sound, and somatics and has supported thousands of people around the world in living with more presence. I host a podcast called A Wave Away, and write regularly on my Substack called Rabbit Rabbit.

My professional bio, education, and training are midway down this page.

A bit of my story — My husband, twins, and I live and steward land in the mountains outside of Charlottesville, Virginia on unceded Monacan territory. My pronouns are she/her and I’m of Sicilian, Italian, and Scottish ancestry. My work is rooted in my values of presence, integrity, compassion, reciprocity and benefit sharing, authenticity, responsibility, creativity, and collaboration. I’m a member of the Native American Church and regularly attend indigenous-led Lakota Inipi Ceremonies (sweat lodges).

I’m currently participating in a 1:1 mentorship, study, and healing journey with indigenous medicine woman, Azalea Montaño-Kemp. I am also a graduate of Linda Thai’s Certificate in Somatic Embodiment and Regulation Strategies and Charlotte James’ Liberation Training program focused on decolonization and collective liberation.

My spiral journey into myself began with the pregnancy and birth of my twins, Matilda and Rhodes, in 2015. During my postpartum time, I was searching for stillness, a way to slow down, a place to connect with and find myself again. This longing led me to my first sound baths, plant medicine, ceremonies of many forms, teachers from all over the world, and started my path of self-discovery and healing.

I’m a Virgo Sun, Cancer Moon, Gemini Rising, and a 2/4 Manifesting Generator. I’m glad you’re here, thanks for reading a bit of my story — reach out and say hey if you’d like <3
