ritual of being retreat

Saturday, June 29

10 am to 3 pm

Crozet, VA

Our Ritual of Being Retreat offers a safe, trauma-informed sacred space for ritual, embodiment, connection with community, and potent transformation.

This retreat will support you in healing relationships with your body, mind, and spirit and will aid you in aligning more deeply with your heart and your purpose.

We will hold space for you to release all that is no longer for you and work with the fertile energies of summer to call in your dreams and desires.

We come together to lose ourselves, to find ourselves. Join us to be deeply nourished, to find presence, and a profound sense of connection to yourself and the world around you.

For most of human history ritual and retreat have been at the center of life.

Many of us can feel the weight of today’s fast-paced world on our shoulders. So many obligations, so much screen time, so little space to slow down and be together.

It’s only very recently, beginning in this modern age of industrialism, capitalism, colonization, patriarchy, and so forth, that so many of us have become disconnected from gathering together in person for ritual and retreat, that so many of us have lost our shared sacred spaces.

Since time immemorial, ritual and retreat have provided us with:

𖤓 a way to slow down and still the chaos of everyday life

𖤓 a remembrance of the interconnectedness of all things and beings

𖤓 a sense of place and belonging

𖤓 an immersion into awe, magic, and wonder

𖤓 a potent portal into presence

𖤓 a connection to the sacred vessel of the body

I imagine when you close your eyes and go within you can feel the longing the loss of ritual and retreat has left behind. The hunger for scared space stirring deep in your belly and your bones.

It’s time to gather, time to make room for ritual and retreat again.
